To mark the festive season in India, Microsoft has discounted the price of Office Home & Student 2016 as well as Office 365 Home, whether you are buying a new subscription or renewing an existing one.
The promotion is for a limited time (although no specific end date has been specified) and available only on theofficial Microsoft Store, and is not available on other online or offline retailers selling Microsoft software at the time of writing.
Office Home & Student 2016
This Office 2016 suite for 1 PC offers full versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote as well as cloud storage on OneDrive. Usually priced at ₹5,999, the Office 2016 suite is now available for only ₹3,884, a savings of ₹2,115.
Office 365 Home
The Office 365 Home subscription allows full versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote for 5 PCSs or Macs, 5 tablets (including iPad and Android), and 5 smartphones. There’s also 1TB cloud storage per user for up to 5 users as well as ongoing access to updates. Priced at ₹4,199 for an year, the Office 365 Home subscription is available for only ₹2,789 as part of the promotion, a savings of ₹1,410
If you’ve been on the fence to get Office for your home and personal devices, this is a great time to grab it at a discounted price. If, like me, you have an active subscription, make use of the discounted price and renew it for another year and thank me later!
