As the battle for cloud computing supremacy rages on, Microsoft and others are arming themselves with as many tools, services and partnerships as possible to remain competitive.
Microsoft recentlyacquired cloud management solution Cloudynto add to its competitive edge.
This acquisition fits squarely into our commitment to empower customers with the tools they need to govern their cloud adoption and realize the strategic benefits of a global, trusted intelligent cloud. Cloudyn gives enterprise customers tools to identify, measure and analyze consumption, enable accountability and forecast future cloud spending.
Cloudyn has not only been a Microsoft partner for some years, the company has supported cost management for Azure for quite some time as well. We told you aboutreports of the acquisitiontwo months ago, but now Microsoft has made it official.
Microsoft’s deal with Cloudyn isn’t just a strategic one but a realized opportunity for Azure customers. Cloudyn solutions have a proven track record for enabling its customer’s significant returns on investments in the cloud to the tune of 286 percent by establishing cloud efficiencies.
Even though the acquisition is as fresh as wet paint at the moment, Cloydyn integration for Azure users should be coming soon.
