The preview for Microsft Azure’s newest data service for IT and business users was announced today. TheAzure Analysis Servicesis created to assist business owners with the ability to visualize and manage their data easier. The enterprise-grade OLAP engine and BI modeling platform is available for Azure Portal and Azure Resource Manager templates, and now business users will be able to explore data and make informed decisions thanks to the service.

Here are some details:

Azure Analysis Services is compatible with SQL Server Analysis Services such as using Visual Studio to create and deploy models. Likewise, tabular models and major BI tools for Power, Excel, and Server Reporting Services will be available in highly optimized in-memory engines.

It’s also useful that the Analysis Services can be scaled up and down as needed and can even be paused so that you only pay for what you use all through the Azure Resource Manager. You can try the Azure Analysis Services forfreewith a $200 credit for your Azure account.

For most of the kids of his age, the Internet was an amazing way to play and communicate with others, but he was deeply impressed by the flow of information and how easily you can find anything on the web.

Prior to founding Windows Report, this particular curiosity about digital content enabled him to grow a number of sites that helped hundreds of millions reach faster the answer they’re looking for.
