The next big update forMinecrafton PC is closing in and 1.12 wouldn’t be complete without a few final touches. Announced last month, the World of Color Update is planned to add new colored blocks, parrots, brighter banners, dying options for beds, and more.

This week, Mojang releasedsnapshot 17W16Ato fit the last few features in. Here’s what they’ve added:

Now the team will begin focusing on bug bashing, polishing the new features, and getting update 1.12 ready for full release. Unfortunately, we still don’t know when that will be, but it can’t be too far away now. If you want to try these out ahead of time, go to your Minecraft launcher and enable snapshot builds. Be careful to backup any saves since the beta snapshots can have unwanted effects.
