Among Us is an indie online title from studio Innersloth that exploded in popularity during the pandemic and continues to attract sizeable number of players with its addictive gameplay loop. It seems that Among Us may be partnering with one of the most well-known game franchises in the world in the near future, with the game’s official Twitter account teasing a collaborating with none other than Halo.

The Tweet in question has Innersloth sharing an image of Among Us with a Crewmate donning a Master Chief skin and a Monitor pet hovering close by. Tagging the Halo Twitter account, the Tweet suggests that these cosmetics are coming soon to Among Us. Since then, the official Twitter accounts for Xbox, Halo, andXbox Game Passhave all responded, strongly suggesting the tease is real and that players will be able to gear up as the Master Chief in Among Us.

It’s not clear what the crossover will entail, beyond the pictured cosmetics, and it’s also not clear how players will be able to obtain the cosmetics when they arrive. Still, the entirely separate worlds of Among Us andHalo Infinitemay be set to collide, even if it is in a small way. Both Among Us and Halo Infinite count among thebest Xbox games, if for very different reasons, and are also available across the entire Xbox Game Pass ecosystem, including Xbox, PC, and Xbox Cloud Gaming.
