ID@Xbox Showcases present a myriad of upcoming and current titles from numerous indie developers self-publishing through Xbox’s ID@Xbox program, with new announcements, gameplay trailers, updates, and more. These events are perfect for fans of more creative indie games, especially those preferring to play their games on an Xbox console.

The ID@Xbox Showcase March 2022 just wrapped up, and contained within was a score of anticipated indie titles, mostly releasing in 2022 or just beyond. Plenty of exciting games were displayed during the show, several of which may end up being some of thebest Xbox gamesaround. However,Xbox Game Passsubscribers, in particular, may have their interest peaked, with12games shown during the ID@Xbox Showcase heading to the subscription service.

The games presented during the March 2022 ID@Xbox Showcase can head to practically any modern gaming platform on their release, but the show (and its games), are primarily focused onXbox Series X,Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PC, and evenXbox Cloud Gaming. As expected for an Xbox event, one of the most significant focuses of the ID@Xbox Showcase was Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass, and Xbox Cloud Gaming. ID@Xbox and its featured developers showed off a lot of games during the show, with overhalfconfirmed to be heading to the Xbox Game Pass family of subscription services. We saw12 games coming to Xbox Game Pass day one, eight of which were new announcements, and two surprise launching during the event.

Tunic, a highly-anticipated puzzle-adventure game, launches today as an Xbox console exclusive, and arrives on Xbox Game Pass simultaneously. There has been rampant speculation among players eagerly awaiting Tunic’s arrival, and now it has all been confirmed. Joining Tunic is Paradise Killer, another game slated for release today that is surprise dropping into Game Pass.
