HP comments on vanishing ENVY 34 All-in-One Desktop PC preorder option

HP has been building momentum behind itsENVY 34 All-in-One (AIO) Desktop PCfor months now. Back in September 2021, we gave the computer a hands-on and came away impressed by its 5K display, quality camera, high hardware ceiling, and minimalist design that makes it easy to transport and set up compared to other AIO offerings on the market.
That’s why it was a big deal when HP finallyopened up ENVY 34 preordersin the middle of November, giving interested consumers a chance to reserve a model for themselves. However, not long after, the preorder page went missing without an explanation. Should one attempt to click the old preorder links, they’ll be redirected to an unrelated HP shopping page.
The questions, then, are where did the preorder page go, why did it go, and when will it be back? While we don’t have concrete answers to those first two queries, a spokesperson from HP did provide an answer regarding when it’ll return to the site: “Expect it to go back up later this month or in January.”
There you have it. If not in December 2021, then January 2022. The reason for the page going away could be anything, including supply constraints leading to HP not wanting to take on more orders right away. Whatever the case may be, set aside $2,349.99 or more if you want to be ready for the day the ENVY 34 AIO returns to HP’s site. As you may recall from before its site delisting, it’s an expensive machine.
