HP launched the OMEN 27c today. It’s a curved gaming monitor with a 240Hz refresh rate, a 1 ms response time, and support for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro. The QHD monitor is available starting today for $530. While we’ll have to get our hands on it to make a complete assessment, its specs compete with thebest PC gaming monitors. The OMEN 27c could also be one of thebest monitors for the Xbox Series X and Series S.

The OMEN 27c has a 1000R curvature to help increase immersion. It’s Eyesafe certified to reduce eye strain during longer gaming sessions. HP claims that the OMEN 27c is the world’s first Eyesafe certified 1000R curved gaming monitor. The monitor has a QHD resolution, HDR 400, and DCI-P3 92% color gamut.

To help ensure smooth and swift gameplay, the OMEN 27c has a display with a 240Hz refresh rate, a 1 ms response time, and supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro.

HP customized the software of the OMEN 27c for gaming as well. OMEN Gaming Hub features dynamic crosshairs which change color based on the environment. There are 248 customization options for shape and color. Shadow Vision enhances details in dark areas of gameplay. The OMEN 27c also supports Edge Precision, which smooths and corrects sharp images.

This curved gaming monitor has a QHD resolution, a 240Hz display, and a response time of 1 ms. It also supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro.
