Mixed reality is coming to the forefront of Microsoft’s game plan as we move onto the next big iteration of Windows 10, and so new mixed reality headsets are taking the stage to grab a piece of that pie. Today, we have two headsets going up for pre-order: The HP and Asus Windows Mixed Reality Headsets.

From a technical standpoint, these two headsets are almost identical. Here are the technical specifications, applicable to both headsets.

You can check out the HP Mixed Reality headsethere, and its Acer cousin overhere. These headsets are meant for developers, so consumers looking to purchase one might want to hold off – they aren’t meant for everybody. If you’re convinced you want to choose one of them to take home with you, keep in mind that the only real difference is in their design.
