What you need to know
343 Industries has announced that the latest wave of Halo Infinite’s monthlyXbox Game Pass Ultimatebonuses are now available to all players with an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription. The main perk is the “Pass Tense” coating for the Battle Rifle that gives the gun a sleek black appearance accented by a vibrant green stripe along the length of the weapon (parts of the weapon’s scope are green, too). Players will also receive a Challenge Swap and Double XP consumable as well — the former allows players to switch one of their Weekly Challenges for a new one if they’d prefer, while the latter doubles all XP gained from completing challenges or finishing matches for an hour after use.
Currently, being a subscriber to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is the only way to obtain these perks. The subscription costs $15/month, making it considerably more expensive than a standardXbox Game Passmembership. However, Xbox Game Pass Ultimatedoesinclude some big benefits, including access to Game Pass for PC as well as access toXbox Cloud Gaming, which is Microsoft’s rapidly growing game streaming service.

Alternatively, you can also redeem your perks on the Xbox Game Pass mobile app by selecting the Perks tab on your profile page. Perks are redeemable through the Xbox app on Windows PCs, too; they can be found in the Game Pass tab.
