Microsoft appears to be continuing to enrich its social gaming features through Xbox Live, as leaked developer documentation has shown that Microsoft is working on offering an Xbox Clubs API (Application Programming Interface) to game developers (viaWindows Central).
This feature would allow game developers to integrate with Xbox Live to offer deeper social features while in-game, reducing or possibly removing the need to use the Guide and other areas of the Xbox operating system to perform social actions.
Specific details of what developers will have access to via this new API is not available, however, it could prove beneficial to multiplayer and social games, such as allowing Clubs to integrate with in-game clans.
This new feature is expected to arrive in April.

For most of the kids of his age, the Internet was an amazing way to play and communicate with others, but he was deeply impressed by the flow of information and how easily you can find anything on the web.
Prior to founding Windows Report, this particular curiosity about digital content enabled him to grow a number of sites that helped hundreds of millions reach faster the answer they’re looking for.
