This year is the 50th anniversary of Hot Wheels, and to celebrate, Mattel and Microsoft are partnering to bring Hot Wheels themed cars to Forza Motorsport 7. Forza Horizon 3 also received aHot Wheels expansion pack of its own, so it’s nice to see something similar come to Motorsport 7.
In addition to the new Hot Wheels Anniversary Pack DLC that is available now to owners of the game, players will also getseven additional free carsincluding older models like the ’69 Chevrolet Camaro as well as newer ones like the ’17 Rip Rod, all coming to Forza Motorsport 7. Additionally, five Hot Wheels driver suits are coming, and can be earned by completing various challenges throughout the game.
Microsoft says more cars based on the toys are coming to the game over the coming weeks, and a few are also coming to the latest Forza Horizon 4 series as well. Both games are also Xbox Play Anywhere titles, meaning the can be played on both Windows 10 or Xbox One as long the title is purchased digitally. What’s more is thatHorizon 4 was the best selling gameon Xbox last month.
