Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker, the latest expansion to Square Enix’s popular MMORPG, has just received a significant update in the form of patch 6.01. According to the FFXIV’s official websiteLodestone, this update contains various bug fixes to mitigate log-in issues, new minions, orchestration scrolls, triple triad cards, and most importantly of all, the first part Endwalker’s eight-man raid series, Pandaemonium.

Pandaemonium is Endwalker’s first big post-game activity, which has the player investigating a macabre asylum filled with monsters that could pose a threat to the world should they escape. This raid features challenging boss fights and should players overcome them, they will be rewarded with powerful weapons and gear.

On top of getting a new raid, subscribers will also be receiving 14 extra days of game time added to their accounts in this patch. This is Square Enix’s way of helping players deal with thecongestion issuesthat have been hampering their experience since Endwalker’s launch.

In addition to the Pandaemonium raid, Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker is hosting a Christmas event calledStarlight Celebration, where players can earn holiday-themed items up until Dec. 31 at 6:59 a.m. PST. As for upcoming content, there will be an in-game New Year’s Day event calledHeavensturn on Jan. 5, 2022. And on Jan. 4, the game will receive the 6.05 update, which contains the harder Savage-tier version of the Pandaemonium raid, the Excitatron 6000 treasure dungeon, and much more.

Square Enix has been hard at work making sure players get to participate in the biggest chapter of Final Fantasy XIV, even going as far as tosuspend sales of the game entirelyuntil this patch came along to help mitigate the server issues. It’s easy to see why Square Enix would to go lengths, considering that Final Fantasy XIV is one of thebest multiplayer games on PC, and is now the mostprofitable entry in the Final Fantasy series. Will the bug fixes in this patch solve Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker’s congestion issues and get more players into the game? Only time will tell.

Bear the hopes and dreams of Eorzea and avert The Final Days.
