If there are not a lot of great social media apps on the Windows Store as of today, Facebook is probably one of the few exceptions. So far, the social network has been supporting its Windows 10 apps (including Messenger and Instagram) with frequent updates, and the latest version of the Facebook app introduces jump lists support, something that you don’t often see on UWP apps (viaWindows Blog Italia).
For those unfamiliar, Jump List support means that if you have pinned the Facebook app on your taskbar, you can right-click the app icon to get instant access to select features such as writing a new post, upload a photo or video or start a Live video.
Although the list of tasks is quite limited for now, it’s still a handy feature for Facebook addicts and it may well convince others to install the app instead of just using Facebook on a web browser. Do you think the Facebook app for Windows 10 is a good example of a well-done UWP app? Let us know below.
