Throughout the last few months, we haveclosely followedMicrosoft’s acquisition of the business and employment-oriented social networking service LinkedIn. Last week we reported on theservice being banned in Russia, and just a few days ago, amidstgrowing antitrust concerns,  Microsoftpromised the EUthat LinkedIn APIs will remain available to all. Today there is more LinkedIn news to report, and this time, it is in regards to the EU clearing Microsoft’s EU LinkedIn acquisition (Via Reuters.)

According to a Reuters report, which cites three people familiar with the matter, European Union antitrust regulators have given the all clear to Microsoft’s $26 billion takeover of LinkedIn.  Microsoft, however, reportedly has to make minor changes to the concessions (commitments) which were originally submitted to the Unionlast week.
