What you need to know
Halo Infiniteis easily one of the most highly anticipated titles of 2021 within Microsoft’s Xbox Game Studios family. While slated to launch on Dec. 8, the title appears to be in circulation a little ahead of schedule, with some physical copies now in the wild. Broken street dates aren’t uncommon for AAA titles and Halo Infinite is the latest victim now on the streets.
While it’s unclear where the game has leaked out early, this does mean that anyone with an Xbox console can easily play the game, if they get their hands on the physical copy early. It could signal that more spoilers lay ahead of the campaign debut, with a chance of appearing among comments sections and forums, over the week before launch.

With the news of the leak, we recommend people who have been eager to play the game exercise caution when browsing. At least, until launch day. Halo Infinite is set to release on Dec. 8 on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Halo Infinite’s multiplayer has launched a few weeks early, compiling its classic arena multiplayer modes, expanded 24-player Big Team Battle, and more into one free-to-play package.
