Battlefield 2042is now out in the wild, and can already count itself among thebest Xbox gamesfor fans of first-person shooters, as long as you’re able to get past the myriad ofbugs and issues plaguing Battlefield 2042. The game is ambitious, but the growing community has already shared a fair amount of feedback and criticism regarding its shaky launch state. On Tuesday,EA and DICE detailed their plans to improve Battlefield 2042with at least two updates arriving in the near future.

Battlefield 2042 Update #2 is arriving on Nov. 25, 2021 with a solid handful of improvements, including tweaks to weapon handling and balancing, vehicle balancing, and improvements to the respawn system and soldier revives. Update #3, however, is far more major, arriving sometime in early December with a huge number of fixes, alterations, and overall quality-of-life updates. There may be a third upcoming update arriving sometime before the end of 2021, but EA and DICE didn’t share any details on this release.
