Thousands of players may be joining the vibrant and terrifying world of Dying Light 2 Stay Human, but the original Dying Light is still a title well worth revisiting, even in 2022. Techland made this assertion even more true with the release of current-gen upgrades for the first Dying Light game, starting with certain PlayStation consoles early this month. On Monday, the studio also dropped the current-gen upgrade for Dying Light on Xbox.

PS5 and PS4 Pro players can already enjoy the Dying Light current-gen upgrade, but now the additional enhancements and graphical settings extend to Microsoft’s fastest and most powerful consoles.
