Battlefield 2042is just a few weeks away, with theBattlefield 2042 betabeginning very shortly for any players with early access. This includes anyone who preorders the game or is currently subscribed to EA Play, a service that’s included with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

Unfortunately, if you go to download the beta and you’re not sure which version to get depending on if you’re playing on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S or Xbox One, you’re not alone. There aren’t many clear signs of which version to get, leading to many players incorrectly downloading the wrong beta for their system.

There are however a couple of signs you can use to tell the difference. For starters, if you scroll down on the page for the beta meant for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, there will be a small Xbox Series X|S tag at the very bottom. Alternatively, if you just download both, you can tell the difference this way, as the Xbox One beta is smaller due to the lower-quality textures not taking up as much space.

Battlefield 2042 is currently set to launch on Nov. 19, 2021 for Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PC, PS5 and PS4. Depending on how the final game turns out it could end up being one of thebest Xbox gamesavailable this year.
