Djay Pro, the award-winning DJ software from developer Algoriddim, is now available to download from the Windows 10 Store (viaThe Verge). The popular DJing app has been previously released on macOS and iOS, but the Windows 10 app has been optimized for touchscreen PCs and it even supportsMicrosoft’s Surface Dial. The app also integrates with Spotify, which makes it a great option for users that don’t have an extensive music collection.
The app has been built from the ground up, using Microsoft’s “Islandwood” iOS-to-UWP tool, as a UWP app and provides “low-latency audio, smooth graphics, and plug-and-play hardware support.” Here is the official description:
Djay Pro provides a complete toolkit for DJs of all skill levels. Built specifically for Windows 10, djay Pro seamlessly integrates with your iTunes library and Spotify, giving you instant access to millions of tracks. Pristine sound quality and a powerful set of features including high-definition waveforms, sampler and four decks give you endless creative flexibility to take your sets to new heights.
The app is currently a $49.99 purchase on the Windows Store, but a free trial can also be downloaded on thedeveloper’s website. Djay Pro is a pretty good example of what developers can do by leveraging Microsoft’s UWP platform, and we definitely hope to see more apps like these land on the Windows Store in the near future.

For most of the kids of his age, the Internet was an amazing way to play and communicate with others, but he was deeply impressed by the flow of information and how easily you can find anything on the web.
Prior to founding Windows Report, this particular curiosity about digital content enabled him to grow a number of sites that helped hundreds of millions reach faster the answer they’re looking for.
