Microsoft just released the JulyPatch Tuesdayupdates for all theWindows 10versions currently supported.

Just like the previousupdates, the recent batch brings some minor enhancements. Furthermore, theseupdatesalso fix a series of bugs introduced by the previous versions.

ThePatch Tuesdayupdates are released to fix Windows security vulnerabilities. This time, the packages brings non-security patches as well.

Some of the major security enhancements target Windows kernel, Microsoft Graphics Component, Windows Wireless Networking, the classic Microsoft Edge, Windows App Platform and Frameworks, Internet Explorer.

Don’t forget to back up your system

Unfortunately, the history ofWindows 10cumulative updates is not that bright. Most of the times, theseupdatesarenothing more than a headacheforWindows 10users and IT Admins.

They often trigger major issues includingdownload stallsand slow installation issues. Most importantly, there are times when theupdatesfail to install on your systems.

Windows 10May 2019 Update brought adefer update featurethat allows you to delay the installation for some time. You can use this feature to wait until all the major update issues have been fixed.

However, in case you decide to go ahead with the installation, acomplete backup of your systemis highly recommended. Remember, you can always use the backup to rollback to a stable version if anything goes wrong.
