Dell pulls in $28 billion in Q4 FY22, closes fiscal year with $101 billion in revenue

Dell just wrapped up the fourth quarter of its 2022 fiscal year and released its report for both the quarter and the year as a whole. For Q4, it pulled in $28 billion in revenue, marking a 16% jump. The year as a whole saw revenues hit $101.2 billion, a 17% YoY boost when compared to FY21’s results.
Also announced was that Dell is instituting a quarterly cash dividend policy. Here are the specifics, according to the company’searnings report press release:
The company also announces that its board of directors has approved a dividend policy under which the company intends to pay quarterly cash dividends on its common stock, with an initial dividend rate of $1.32 per share per year for fiscal 2023, or approximately $1 billion in aggregate. The board has declared the initial quarterly dividend of $0.33 per share, which will be payable on April 29 to stockholders of record as of April 20.
Dell’s quarterly haul is on par withwhat analysts were expecting. Lenovo’s also posted itsmost recent quarter’s results, meaning the last major player to drop the details on its quarterly financials will be HP. Once its results are in, it’ll be easier to establish a picture of how the giants are stacking up against each other as we head into the second quarter of the 2022 calendar year.
It’s been abig year for the PC market, so seeing the likes of Dell and Lenovo reporting major revenue hauls shouldn’t come as a surprise.
