Yesterday Microsoftannounced the availabilityof Kali Linux on the Microsoft Store in Windows 10. This afternoon,the tech giant followed upby noting the popular and free Debian Linux distribution has also become available in the store (via Thurrott.com).

Debian now joins the Kali Linux, Ubuntu, OpenSUSE, and SLEX Linux distributions in the Microsoft Store. These distributions can all be downloaded manually and can run indevelopmental environments simultaneously. They are all part of theWindows Subsystem for Linux, which allows native Linux ELF64 binaries to run on Windows 10.
