Crytek announced Crysis 4 on Wednesday with a new teaser trailer. The teaser trailer — which notes that Crysis 4 is a working title — is mainly high concept, without any gameplay or much to draw from.

You can check out the teaser trailer below:

“Crytek has a proud history of working with our community to develop the games you want to play,” the developers noted in ablog postaccompanying the announcement. “Crysis is incredibly important to so many people – it’s beloved by gamers everywhere, and some of those working in the industry today are doing so because of the original game – so we want to make sure the next instalment in the franchise lives up to all of your expectations.”

The original Crysis first launched back in 2007 and was followed up Crysis 2 in 2011 and Crysis 3 in 2013. Since then, there haven’t been any new entries in the series. In 2020, Crytek released a remaster of the first game for modern consoles, followed by a complete remastered trilogy in 2021 that included the second and third entries in the series.

Given how early Crysis 4 is in development, it’s safe to say that when it launches it’ll be available onXbox Series X,Xbox Series S, PC andPS5.

All three games

The Crysis Remastered Trilogy includes all three games, with new performance options that weren’t previously available on consoles.
