Xbox’s Major Nelson just tweeted out some news which many Xbox fans have been waiting for. Blue Dragon has finally been added to the Xbox One Backward Compatibility catalog.

Blue Dragon is currently supported via Backward Compatibility as disc only, butas per a tweet from Aaron Greenberg, the title has long been requested to enter the catalog by Xbox fans. The game itself is is a role-playing title developed by Mistwalker and Artoon and published by Microsoft Game Studios.

Blue Dragon is loosely based on a design by Final Fantasy series creator Hironobu Sakaguchi, who also supervised development and wrote the plot of the game.
