LG’s gram 14 2-in-1 is a compact, 14-inch convertible laptop that weighs in at only about 2.5 pounds. It has a durable chassis, plenty of ports, and a colorful touch display, but that doesn’t mean it can’t benefit from some worthwhile accessories. We’ve collected the best right here.

More ports on the go

A docking station works great for your office, but when on the go, a portable hub is preferred. This hub from HooToo connects to your gram with USB-C and offers HDMI, three USB-A 3.0, a full-size SD card reader. It’s also sized small enough to fit in your pants or laptop sleeve pocket for cool convenience.

Protective sleeve

The gram’s aluminum alloy chassis is resilient, but a sleeve never hurts. This tomtoc sleeve has thick padding around all edges and corners, it has a handle on top, and it has two zippered pockets on the outside for your charger and smaller accessories. This sleeve is built to protect against drops as much as it is against scratches.

Budget 24-inch monitor

A 4K monitor certainly isn’t in the cards for everyone, especially when the price is involved. For an awesome affordable external display, ViewSonic’s VX2458-MHD should be considered. It has a 1920x1080 (FHD) resolution, a 1ms response time, a 144Hz refresh rate, and it connects back to your gram with HDMI.

27-inch 4K monitor

This big external monitor connects back to your gram 14 2-in-1 with USB-C, and it has a 3840x2160 (4K) resolution for an unreal picture, including 99% sRGB color reproduction. The IPS panel has wide viewing angles, and the stand allows for height, tilt, and pivot adjustments.

External mouse

For improved precision when pointing, an external mouse is recommended, and there’s really no better wireless option than Logitech’s MX Master 2S with ergonomic design, long battery life, and the ability to connect to three different devices for quick switching. Connect with Bluetooth or with the included USB dongle.

USB-C docking station

Lacking Thunderbolt 3, the gram can still take advantage of a USB-C docking station that will turn your laptop into the centerpiece of a workstation. Dell’s D6000 has four USB-A 3.0, one USB-C, two DisplayPort, one HDMI, a 3.5 mm audio jack, and RJ45 Ethernet. It provides up to 65 watts of charging back to your laptop so you don’t have to worry about power when it’s time to hit the road.

Extra storage space

The gram’s microSD card reader can be used to add compact, affordable storage, and Samsung’s EVO Select lineup of UHS-I cards is a great choice. Get sizes in 32GB up to 512GB, and take advantage of a 10-year warranty for some serious longevity. Read and write speeds respectively hit up to 80 MB/s and 20 MB/s.

Keep the touch display clean

This isn’t the most exciting accessory, but it’s certainly required for use with the glossy touch display. Using the gram in tablet mode mucks the screen up fast with fingerprints, resulting in a screen that’s hard to see (and frankly a bit gross). Solve the issue with this kit, which includes cloth and spray.
